Government Agency
Delco Solutions was hired by a government agency to design and install a new audio visual
system that would replace their currently outdated system.
We designed the new system to accommodate a range of multimedia presentation and
communication activities. This government agency conducts training sessions, hosts large
meetings and communicates daily with internal and external government offices.
The upgraded system we provided incorporated the industry’s most advanced audio visual hardware, which is controlled by a flexible, intuitive touch screen. Each side of the room is outfitted with its own touch screen control. Both sides of the room can be operated independently of each other or as one unit. This world-class technology and equipment create a solution capable of meeting the most complex presentation demands.

Key features of this upgrade included:
- High performance projectors (1080p resolution) installed in a side-by-side configuration for double or single mode presentation. Opposite each projector, two ceiling-recessed electronic projection screens by Da-Lite blend neatly into the ceiling when not in use and quietly deploy when selected on the touch screen control.
- ClearOne Beamforming Microphone Arrays hang from the ceiling to provide total room audio coverage. This Clearone system is integrated with a Cisco video conferencing unit.
- A 10” digital touch panel (master room control) controls video conferencing, audio conferencing, projectors, projection screens, volume and independent audio and video source switching. Outfitted on the opposite side of the room is a 7” digital touch panel that controls its own side’s projector, projection screen, source switching and volume. Both sides can be controlled as either one whole (with the master control) or as two separate spaces, with a room partition, in order to run two events simultaneously.
- Shure XLR wireless microphones were also provided for keynote speakers, accompanied with local sound reinforcement.

Key features of this upgrade included:
- A high-performance Barco WUXGA Projector 5,900 lumens with long throw lens neatly housed in a wall cutout with a ventilation system in the back to prevent overheating
- Community column speakers, that are as pleasing to the eye as they are to the ear, were installed to create a surround sound environment.
- Shure XLR wireless microphones were also provided for keynote speakers and for sound reinforcement during events.
- An induction loop was installed under the carpet for the hearing impaired.
- A 7” digital touch panel controls the projector, projection screen, volume, independent audio and video source switching and cable TV.
